Twalumba

Twalumba, meaning “Thank You,” is a charming self-catering holiday retreat nestled in the heart of Marloth Park, and very close to the fence overlooking the Crocodile River. Surrounded by free-roaming wildlife and the tranquil beauty of the African bush, it offers the perfect setting for families, friends, or small groups looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

The lodge consists of three double-storey units, each comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests. Every unit features a double bed upstairs, two single beds downstairs, and two private bathrooms, providing both comfort and privacy for your stay.

Each unit includes a convenient kitchenette with a fridge and tea-and-coffee-making facilities, while guests have access to a large fully equipped communal kitchen complete with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and washing machine. A covered patio, shared dining area, and braai/BBQ facilities create the ideal space for gathering, dining, and enjoying memorable evenings under the stars.

Cool off in the inviting swimming pool on hot summer days, stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi, and enjoy peace of mind knowing backup power is available during electricity outages.

Note: The establishment can be booked for smaller groups at a lower price per night. Please contact us for accurate pricing, if required. But the property is rented out in its entirety to one group at a time.

Twalumba is walking distance from the fence, overlooking the Crocodile River and connecting Marloth Park and The Kruger National Park. Guests can ride a bicycle or go for a walk inside Marloth park, where guests will see free-roaming wildlife and a wide variety of bird species.

Cleaning service is available on request.

Establishment Rules:
Guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
Parts of the unit are accessed via stairs, which may not be suitable for young children, elderly guests or guests with disabilities.
Guests are advised to enquire about the road conditions before arrival, as Marloth park consists of gravel roads.
No DStv is available.
No pets are allowed.
All ages are welcome.
Marloth Park is a nature reserve, and no music or excessive noise is permitted.
30% Deposit required on each booking made, balance 2 weeks before check-in date.

Cancellation Policy:
More than 1 month before check-in: 100% refund,
More than 1 week before check-in: 50% refund,
Less than 1 week before check-in 0% refund.
